University of Adelaide Ashok Khurana Scholarship for Indian students:
Scholarships provided by the university, for Indians to undertake postgraduate studies, in subjects like Agriculture, Medical biotech, Clean Technology and Environment. The scholarship can amount to $25,000 for one year, payable towards recipient’s airfare, tuition fees and living expenses. Successful candidate are also offered a 50% discount on their tuition fees. Only those candidates are eligible for the scholarship, who have already received an unconditional offer, to study at the University of Adelaide before applying for the scholarship. Applicants also need to demonstrate leadership qualities, and expressa desire to improve or enhance India. University of Queensland Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships:
The University invites, outstanding students of Indian origin to apply for scholarships which cover 50% of the tuition fees, to undertake Master’s degree in biotech, molecular biology or bioinformatics. THe value of the scholarship is approximately AUD $ 16,080 per year. Upto 6 scholarships are awarded each year.

Imperial College India Foundation Post-graduate Scholarships:
These are scholarships, for funding Indian students, exclusively, studying in the Imperial College, for select subjects and courses. The eligibility criteria for a candidate:
– Applied to pursue Master’s programme in Engineering, Natural Sciences through the main application process.
– Dislay intellectual and leadership qualities.and is committed to give bck to India on their return.
– Deemed in need of financial support to pursue higher education

King’s College London Emerald MSc. Studentship:
This scholarship is available for only the member countries of the EMERALD Project, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Nepal, India, Ethiopia. Students looking to obtain this scholarship, also have to commit, to working in the country, after finishing their Master’s. This is especially meant for students, looking to pursue, higher degrees in global mental health. A candidate with a overall good to very good score in a health-related under-graduate degree. Required english skills is rated as; 7.0 overall IELTs score, 7.0 for written english, and 6.0 for oher skills The overall value of this scholarship, including fees and living expenses is approx. $53,503.
London Metropolitan University Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship for Indians:
Named in honour of Mahatma Gandhi, this is merit-based scholarship, for covering the tuition costs of a single student, to undertake postgraduate studies in London’s Met University. The eligibility criteria include:
– have an unconditional offer to study at London Met on one of its Master’s courses
– 80% or above in Class 10
– 80% or above in Class 12
– have a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree from a good Indian University

Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OSCI) Scholarships:
These scholarships are open to Indian students to study any stubject at any degree level in either Oxford University or the University of Cambridge, in the UK. The Oxbridge Scholarship, as it is commonly known awards atleast one bright Indian student, though the number can vary from year to year. An OSCI scholar, can also find it easier to apply and obtain other scholarships as well. The eligibility criteria being;
– must be a citizen and resident of India
– be not more than 30yrs of age, as on September 1 2015.
– be a graduate from a recognised Indian university (students in their final year are also eligible)

The value of the scholarship is GBP 2000/- towards tuition fees, only. Around 200 scholarships are awarded every year. The primary aim of the scholarship is the promotion of Scotland as a science and education nation. The one main eligibility criteria, is that, a candidate must have, unconditionally or conditionally, been offered and accpeted a place at a recognised college/university in Scotland.
Sussex India Scholarships for Master’s Students:
This scholarship is an initiative by the University of Sussex, to open up funding for meritorious Indian students, to be able to undertake their postgraduate studies at the University. The eligibility criteria being; the applicant must be self-financed and must have already accepted a master’s position on a full-time basis at the University of Sussex, for the September, 2015 session. The value of the scholarship being GBP 3000

UCD Global Graduate Scholarships for Indian students in Ireland:
The scholarships are for Indian students for a one-year Master’s course at the University College Dublin. These scholarships give high funding and is sought after.
5 scholasrships each worth 50% of tuition fees, termed as the Global Excellence Tuition Fee Scholarships,
100 scholaships each worth 3,000 Euros, Tuition Free scholarships, this is for anyone who accepts a position for Master’s, on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis.
UCL Global Excellence Scholarships for International students:
These scholarships are provided to Indian students to pursue their postgraduate studies or higher, on any program under the University College of London. The scholarships are worth GBP 5,000 each. Students must already have received an offer of a place, in the desired department, to be eligible to apply. Any subject course, taught at the postgraduate level at the University COllege, london, can be chosen. The scholarships are based on academic excellence, achievements and potential. The financial situation is not considered. If students have applied through UCL postgraduate studies portal, their application will be considered.
British Council GREAT Scholarships for Indian Students:
These scholarships are co-funded by the British Council, for Indian students, wanting to study in the UK, in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With a value of over 1.5 million pounds, and the number of scholarships available, standing at 400. This is the largest scholarship programme awarded in India. 83 UG courses and 318 PG courses at 57 UK institutions across all the member countries of the UK. Eligibility criteria does vary from one college/university to another, though high working proficiency in English, is a must desired quality in any of these institutions
Westminster International Partnership Scholarships:
These scholarships are for Indian as well as other International students, who want to pursue their graduation or postgraduation degrees at the University of Westminster. The scholarship allows any student, having an offer for a ful-time Master’s degree at the university, to study any of the postgraduate courses. The scolarship covers 50% of tution fees. The selection criteria is generally based on both academic merit, as well as financial need.
UWE Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships:
UWE Bristol University, offers a number of scholarships at the undergraduate level to students from different nationalities. The scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and there are 8 seperate scholarships that are awarded.

Indian students, who hold a first class bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution, and come from a poor financial background, are eligible to apply. About 20 academic scholarships are awarded every year, to gifted students, to pursue their PG courses at some of the most prestifious institutions in the world
University of Edinburgh Principal’s Indian Master’s Scholarships:
12 scholarships are provided to Indian students, to do their master’s studies at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Only students who have been accepted to join on a full-time basis, are eligible. The criteria is merit-based, and must attain the UK equivlent of a first class honours degree.
DCU International Student Scholarships for Indian Students in Ireland:
The Dublin City University offers scholarships for doing undergraduate and post-graduate studies, on a full time basis at its campus in Dublin, Ireland. The scholarship amounts to a full fee waiver, and a 10,000 Euros stipend for expenses. The Master’s program is for one year only, and for fee purposes, student s are registered as non-EU students. The required criteria being;
– the applicant must be first-time entrant into DCU, and must have applied from his/her home country.

Universitas 21 Alumni Scholarship:
All graduates of Delhi University are guaranteed a place to undertake their postgraduation studies at the University College Dublin. The scholarship is worth 3,000 Euros, and only those students are eligible, who have already been offered a position to pursue their Master’s course.
UCD V.V. Giri Global Excellence Graduate Scholarship:
In honour of V.V. Giri, this scholarship is open to Indian students only, who want to pursue their Master’s degree at the University College Dublin. Four scholarships covering up to the entirity of the tuition fees are awarded to students who have already accpeted to do their Master’s studies at the University. Funding is offered to outstanding students of Indian origin, who wish to pursue their studies at any degree level at any accredited institution in the US, especially in the fields of Environmental Sciences and Studies, Public health studies and Gender Studies. The eligibility criteria , candidate need to fulfil:
– Have atleast a Bachelor’s degree with 55% marks.
– Have a full fledged Master’s degree is Bachelor’s degree is less than standard time period

S.N. Bose Scholars Student Exchange Program for Indian students:
Started in 2000, under the an agreement between the governments of India and the US, this exchange program provides opportunities for budding researchers in the postgraduate level or higher, to opt for studying a selected program in any institution in the US. Indian students doing their UG and PG studies at a recognised institution of higher education. Students form the field of Earth Sciences and Biophysics are eligiblie. Though accomodation and airfare is provided, the exact stipend amount has not yet been disclosed.
