CBSE conducts,UGC NET, National Eligibility Test every year to evaluate the eligibility of Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges and Junior Research Fellowship. It aims to ensure minimum standard for the entrants in teaching professions and research. It is an exam to determine a candidates eligibility for college and university level lectureship and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship for Indian Nationals.
Opportunities: Candidates who have cleared UGC NET 2018 Exams can be a part of teaching profession and research on several subjects of Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science, Applications, Electronic Science, Forensic Science and Environmental Sciences. UGC or other institution under various schemes provide fellowship to the candidates who qualify the JRF. Candidates are awarded JRF and Assistant Professor positions based on their performance in all three papers.
CBSE conducts UGC NET 2018 examination in over 96 subjects at 90 selected NET Examination cities spread across India. The candidates who choose the subject from their field of excellence and General Aptitude Test is common for all.
CBSE has proposed to conduct the NET exam once in a year form 2018.
Stipend: Monthly stipend for JRF,SRF, and Assistant Professor are as follows;
a. Junior Research Fellowship =25000
b. Senior Research Fellowship=28000
The E-Certificates of Qualified Candidates are provided by UGC NET Bureau.
NET (National Eligibility Test) directed by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), on the basis of UGC in an off line procedure of examination of the CBSE UGC NET. It is held one time in a year, that is June/July/August month to test the eligibility criteria of Indian students for Junior Research Fellowship and for Assistant Professor. All candidates keep ready their aadhar cards because it will be required or mandatory to have by all an individual for making on line application form. With the UGC NET score candidate shall also able to apply for Assistant Professor.
