The GATE Exam 2018 will be issued by Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Those eligible candidates who want to qualify the GATE exam 2018. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering Exam pattern will issue by developing, designing and maintaining small and large scale electrical or electronic etc for candidates. A national level exam for GATE is a qualifying exam for the admission into a post graduate program in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other governmental agencies. GATE scores may also be used by Public and Private Sector.
The exam tests the comprehensive understanding of candidate in various undergraduate subjects including Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science. The exam, which is conducted online, encompasses 23 papers. The exam papers will have questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using the virtual keypad. However, the rest of the questions are of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. Aspirants need to choose the GATE paper – out of the 23 papers – they wish to appear for. Please note that a candidate is allowed to appear in ONLY ONE paper.
Candidates who have to submit a certificate from their college Principal, as determined from above Table, have to obtain one from his/her institution beforehand and upload the same during the on line submission of the application form.
