GATE is the national level entrance exam for admission to Post Graduates course in stream of engineering and technology. GATE 2018 exam will commence apparently in the month of April 2018. Indian Institute of technologies IITs, will not engage in the activity of organising a common GATE exam counselling for granting admission to various PG courses. GATE 2018 Counselling Procedure
The GATE CCMT Counseling in an online admission procedure which is conducted by the NIT and other centrally funded institutions. Counselling will be schedule after the declaration of the result.
STEP 1: Online Registration, Choice Filing, and Choice Looking
First step involves registration. Qualified candidates have to register themselves in CCMT official website and then remit the applicable fee. On the successful payment registration fee, applicants will be permitted to fill their choices of preferred programs.
Step 2: Allotment of the Seats, Seat Acceptance Fee
This steps involve allotment of the seats will be done on the basis of the choices filled by the students on the merit list. Once the candidates will be alloted the seat. they have to pay the seat acceptance fees and reports to the alloted venue in person on the prescribed date and time specified by the authority.
Step 3: Admission to the alloted Institute
After seat allotment, candidates are required to complete the provisional seat confirmation process by remitting the payment of seat of confirmation fee.
